Tester arrived luckily ok as probe tip was through the box and out of the plastic nag. the 9volt battery is a very tight fit in the compartments. have used to find wires behind a thin wall and it has worked great to trace the wiring. on the sender unit, the "cont" is only for continuity tests, as per on a ohms meter (multimeter). the tone is for the cable tracing. the sensitivity adjustment is good. recommend product.

Fast delivery. works on cables but not on 230v systems as there is no isolation between unit and crocodile clips. no fuse inside so be carefull with live wires.
