Frequently asked questions
How do I switch between spray and pour?
The top has two settings — turn or flip it to the spray side for a fine mist, or to the pour side for a normal stream. No parts to swap out.
Can I put anything other than oil in it?
Yes. It works with vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice and thin marinades. Thick sauces will clog the spray, so stick to liquids that pour freely.
Does the spray clog up?
Rinse the top through with warm water every few weeks and it stays clear. Cold-pressed oils that thicken in a cold kitchen may need a shake first.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Wash the glass body normally, but hand-wash the spray top — dishwasher heat can damage the mechanism.
Why dark glass instead of clear?
Light breaks oil down and makes it go off faster. Dark glass blocks it, so the oil keeps its flavour much longer than in a clear bottle.

These are the oil sprayers that make sense for cooking at home. The plastic tops and handles aren’t the most sturdy and would probably melt if kept near heat so be aware. But i would buy them again
